A Parish of The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York NY
With the guidance of the Holy Spirit, our mission is to preach the Good News of the coming of Jesus Christ and teach God`s merciful salvation within and beyond our parish community. It is to make His Presence foremost in the life of the parish community through signs, symbols, sacraments, praise and worship; to foster a strong desire for a better knowledge and understanding of our Christian Faith. Our mission of love further requires that we reach out to all of God`s children, to those who have strayed, and to those longing to return to the loving Christ and His Church, so that the world will say of St. Peter`s People of God, "They must belong to Christ the Savior, see how they love."
May the Light of the world, Jesus Christ, continue to lead and guide our Church as we journey through this Year of Mercy.

Cremains: A frequent question to priests seem to be: "What should I do with the cremains of a deceased loved one?" The committee of the Liturgy of the National Confrence of Catholic Bishops reminds us "The remains of a cremated body should be entombed in a mausoleum or columbarium; they may also be buried in a common grave in a cemetery. The practices of scattering cremated remains at sea, from the air, or on the ground or keeping cremains in the home of a relative or friend of the deceased are not the reverent disposition that the Church requires."
If you have any special attentions, prayers for the sick or prayers for those who passed away, please drop a note in the collection basket or drop a note off at the Rectory. We will make every effort to include your intention in the next Sunday's petitions.
All information in regards to the bulletin should be emailed to [email protected] or delivered to the rectory by Monday before 10am in order to be posted in the next weekends bulletin.
